Dr. Upendra Narayan Singh is the Chief Cardiologist and Interventionist. He has brillliant academic carrier. He has completed his MBBS in 2002 from BMC Burdwan. He passed MD in internal medicine from Patna Medical College, in the year 2007 he was awarded gold medal for the best passing out Postgraduate student from Patna University. He later moved to Delhi and joined as non academic senior resident in cardiology in Safdarjung Hospital. He completed DM (Cardiology) course in July 2012 from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Science, Lucknow (SGPGI) which is one of the most prestigious institute of India which also has international repute.
He has strong academic orientation and has several papers in national and international journals. He used to organize several CME in different Districts in Bihar. He is also Asstt. Professor in Cardiology in Patna Medical College (PMCH) and senior consultant interventional Cardiologist in Indra Gandhi Institute of Cardiology (IGIC). He used to teach Postgraduate students and DNB Cardiology students in PMCH and IGIC respectively. He is life time member of Cardiology society in India. He is also a member of American College of Cardiology and society of Cardiovascular intervention and angiography (USA). He has special interests in radial coronary angioplasty, chronic total occlusions, complex cornoary interventions, pacemaker implantation, valvular interventions and structural interventions.
